HERO focused on the operational and analytical structure needed for office-based human studies where behavioural, perceptual, and physiological measurements need to remain interpretable together.
My contribution
I supported protocol-based data collection, preprocessing flow, and analysis organization for heterogeneous signals, helping keep the workflow consistent from acquisition to dissemination.
Technical focus
The study required careful handling of multiple signal types, participant-study structure, and analysis reproducibility so that outputs were not detached from the conditions that produced them.
Why it matters
HERO established the base workflow logic that later extended into HEROx: structured experimental data, repeatable preprocessing, and outputs that remain useful after the first study report.
